To use MavSocial, social networks need to be authenticated with your credentials. You need to also grant permissions to MavSocial at the time of adding a social network.
You can add a social network(s) to your account depending on your subscription plan. To add or edit network account, follow the steps given below.
- Navigate to Account > Social Networks.
Navigate to your account name on the top right corner of the application and select Social Networks option from the drop down list.
The Networks page will be displayed.
- To add a new social network, click Add Account in the required section. In the example here, Facebook is selected. In below figure, enter your social network credentials and then click to Log In.
Then a pop up saying ‘MavSocial would like to manage your Pages” will appear where you need to select OK.
Note: Granting permission here is very important to publish to your Facebook network and generating metrics in Reports and Dashboard.
From below figure, by clicking OK all your feeds will be fetched and metrics will be generated in Reporting and Dashboard.
From below figure, by clicking OK you are granting permission to publish to your Facebook networks.
From below figure, click "OK" and you get the permission to add Facebook pages.
Now another pop-up will appear giving you the option of adding any of your Facebook Profiles, Pages, Groups. Select the ones that you want and click Submit. You can add all your social networks in the same process.
Note: To add Facebook Groups or Pages in MavSocial, you need to be a Group Administrator.
