Direct Messages

This functionality is for Twitter and Facebook social networks.

1. i) Twitter Direct Messages

Direct messages can be initiated to your Twitter followers and received from people you follow unless you enable direct messages from anyone in your Twitter account settings.

Direct messages is displayed with a blue background in Social Inbox.

Twitter Direct Messages functionality is available for Advanced, PRO, Business and Enterprise users.

To initiate a Twitter Direct Message

1. Go to Social Inbox
2. Click on Twitter tab
3. Click on  icon
4. Compose your message and click the “Send” button

To reply to a Twitter Direct Message

5. Go to Social Inbox

6. Click on the Twitter tab

7. Select the 'Direct Messages' option in the left bar

8. Click on "Keep the conversation going on' input field in the right bar

1. ii) Facebook Direct Messages

Facebook Direct Messages can be received or sent from pages in Inbox. Messages are updated almost immediately. Direct messages have blue color background.

Facebook Messages are available for Advanced, PRO, Business and Enterprise users.

To reply to a Facebook Direct Message

1. Go to Social Inbox
2. Click on Facebook tab
3. Select ‘Direct Messages’ option in Left bar
4. Click “Keep the conversation going on” input field in Right bar.
5. Enter your message, and then click ‘Send’ button.

Note: Existing users need to refresh their Facebook accounts to give MavSocial permission to receive and send messages.
